Event Details
On August 19th, 2023, MVP Cofounder Nate Boyer will run the Leadville Trail 100, an ultramarathon held annually on rugged trails and dirt roads near Leadville, CO, through the heart of the Rocky Mountains. The racecourse climbs and descends 15,600 feet with elevations ranging from 9,200 to 12,620 feet! He's dedicating every mile of the race to MVP|Merging Vets and Players.
Since MVP is all about the team, we created this challenge for everyone to take part in their own 100-mile race! Join us in completing 100 miles through the end of August, whether you walk, run, bike, or roll. Registering for this event for $50 will also receive a limited-edition MVP|100 shirt from our friends at Thaddea! Shirts will be shipped out at the end of the campaign so be sure to enter your correct shipping address!
You can also donate and support as all proceeds from the efforts are donated to Merging Vets and Players (MVP), a 501(c)3 nonprofit that helps veterans and former professional athletes find a new team and mission after the uniform comes off.
Merging Vets and Players aims to ensure that no one feels alone during the process, providing support and resources to those who are transitioning out of the uniform. All contributions are aimed at raising awareness and funds to prevent death by suicide and to promote whole health practices among our Nation's heroes. For some, the biggest battle begins after the uniform comes off.
