Kevin Holt
Chicago Program Coordinator
Residing in Chicago's northwest suburbs, Kevin is an Army veteran, husband, and father of two. He spends his free time focused on fitness and the outdoors and usually swinging kettlebells or rucking. Kevin served in the Field Artillery from 2006 to 2012; a proud former member of the Big Red One and 10th Mountain Division served two deployments in eastern Afghanistan.
After leaving the Army, he returned home to the Chicago suburbs, finding work in logistics, and later in manufacturing. Recently married and focused on starting a career, he worked to manage the stress of his transition on his own with limited success and initially avoided connecting with veterans and peer support for fear that it would keep him with one foot in that old life.
Kevin decided to branch out and attended a veteran's event in the summer of 2021 and heard about MVP through a new acquaintance. After attending a virtual and live session, he immediately saw value in the format of the session and huddle. It was a great place to reconnect with a team and work together for personal growth. His goal is to continue building the Chicago team and empower transitioning veterans and athletes as they build themselves physically and mentally for the challenges ahead.
