Executive Director

Lisa joins Merging Veterans and Players with a breadth of business experiences. She knows that ideas are easy, execution is difficult, success takes a lot of hard work, and culture is at the heart of every winning team and gets to where you need to go. 

After starting her career in design and working in New York City, she pivoted and earned an MSA specializing in operations, marketing, and human resources. Other than a stint at Stanford University in higher education, Lisa has primarily been engaged in a range of start-up ventures, either as a founder or early-stage business partner.

Her own companies include an e-commerce product company, as well as a human resources consulting business and an art & design business. She’s also been the operations and human resources director for a technology consultancy in Palo Alto, California, as well as the chief financial officer for a nonprofit established to support the commercialization of defense-related technologies across the country.

Lisa supports several groups to include serving as a board member for Camp Alliance, Inc, an Arkansas based nonprofit focused on improving opportunities for military members and their families. She also recently assisted the evacuation of Afghan refugees through Evacuate our Allies (EOA) based in Los Angeles, California.

Originally from West Virginia, she and her family have enjoyed living in over a dozen locations throughout the US and overseas. She’s the daughter, spouse, and mother to service members and veterans and is very passionate about supporting our veteran and military spouse communities across the country. She is an avid lover of all things outdoors and nature and, when not working, she is usually spending time with her two puppies, Party Mike and Claire Bear.
